A new adventure for the children of the P.arch project

This week begins “Storytelling and Comics in Primavalle” our workshop dedicated to the narration of the neighborhood through the creativity and active participation of the students of the Maffi school in Rome.

After the experience of 2020 that led us to the creation of the “Map of the imaginary city of P.arch” with the 3 tours created by the classes of Rome, Palermo and Favara, we begin this new year dedicated to narration with comics.

The Roman Lab aims to create a graphic novel set in the Primavalle district in which the fantastic stories created by children will come to life. We’ll meet real and imaginary characters and places, we’ll follow clues and mysteries and we’ll get lost in the streets of the neighborhood jumping from one strips to another one.

The pupils will work in groups according to their personal skills and interests. They’ll work as real artistic editors. The goal is to involve everyone in the creation of the first graphic novel set in Primavalle and produced in collaboration with the school.

The MeP team will lead the “artistic editorial staff” with the huge contribution of Simona De Rossi, illustrator and cartoonist.

The comic will then be printed and made available in digital version.
