Made and told: the Made in Italy told by the young is a project that connects the world of fashion and art to promote young talents of Made in Italy.
The Made in Italy is one of the earliest known and respected brand in the world, the mark of a know-how that distinguishes us in the eyes of other countries: creativity, quality, italian life style.
Melting Pro, Leon Battista Alberti School and Pastificio Cerere Foundation will involve 50 students between 15 and 18 years in educational and training activities caraterized by the alternance of artistic lab and workshop of digital storytelling.
During the first lab at Pastificio Cerere Foundation, the students will work together with artists in order to create their own artistic works linked to the world of fashion. The young creatives will work in groups with: designers, a photographer, an artist, a fashion designer.
During the digital storytelling workshops, the creative experience will be told by the students through personal and authentic stories that involve video editing, photos, music and voices. At the end of the workshops, the young participants will be challenged in the organization and realization of a final exhibition, to be held in the spaces of Fondazione Pastificio Ceres. Their creations will be exhibited together with the other results of the project.
Made and Told is a project funded by the Ministry of Education as part of the public notice “Made in Italy – An educational model”, an initiative designed to accompany the Italian school and the youngest in the understanding of the Made in Italy researching the historical background, economic, cultural and land that make this brand a unique example in the world.
The project will last eight months and will end in December 2016.
