
Gaining and strengthening ‘soft skills’ for employment through models of supporting methods (peer coaching and mentoring).
MeltingPro partecipated in partenership with Pandokrator (HU), 12-Evfolyamos Kiegeszito Gorog Nyelvoktato Iskola (HU), Kekiason (EL), Vocational Rehabilitation Consultants Ltd (UK), MMC Management Centre Ltd (CY), Schulungszentrum Fohnsdorf (AT), Instytut Technologii Eksploatacji-Państwowy Instytut Badawczy (PL), Randers Bo- og Erhvervstraening (DK) in a Grundtvig Learning Partnership project “Gaining and strengthening ‘soft skills’ for employment through models of supporting methods (peer coaching and mentoring)”. The general objectives of the project were to face the challenge of growing elderly population and unemployment in Europe and to increase the number of adult learners in lifelong learning and mobilities.
The main results was the development of a new learning process through two new products, the ‘Soft Skills Toolkit’ and the ‘Guideline for models of supporting methods (Peer Coaching and Mentoring)’.
All organizations aims at getting involved in employee/learner volunteering in a variety of dynamic ways such as, mentoring, providing peer coaching and running seminars and workshops on soft skills.
The project had a duration of 2 years.
